PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION/ASSESSMENT

Service Description

Usually done at first consultation and annually to bi-annually. The duration of this visit is between 45 -60 minutes. During this visit we listen to your concerning issues, conduct a detailed history of present concerns, psychiatric family/social history, psychiatric review of systems, medical review of systems, and objective psychiatric examination to guide diagnosis and decision. Depending on the assessment done, the intervention me be psychotherapy only, pharmacotherapy (medication) only or both.
